Search Engine Optimization for Small Business 2017-05-04T17:36:26+00:00

Search Engine Optimization is Still Important

For awhile, we even cried out that SEO was dead. And in a way, we kind of hoped it was true! What really happened was Google said enough with the non-sense. The things people were doing to improve their search engine rankings were completely unnatural, and were degrading the quality of search results. What Google wants us to do is provide quality content at a reasonable frequency. They expect us to include relevant keywords, and anticipate the use of similar words or phrases (Google calls these related keywords “Latent Semantic Indexing” or LSI Keywords) to naturally express our messages.

Search Engine Optimization for Small Business is straightforward

We equip our clients with an SEO interface to guide them when they add new content (as they should) to their websites. The SEO interface also provides a dashboard to help them track their efforts. In most cases, however, we help with keyword research, copy expansion to include keywords and other technical aspects of search engine optimization. See an SEO dashboard example below:

I engaged Aidan Taylor Marketing to create a website and related marketing items in 2016.  As soon as I met the team, I was impressed with their knowledge, preparation and confidence.  They guided me through a maze of marketing terms and concepts that were wholly unfamiliar to me and collaborated with me to create a name, logo design and website that represents my brand and is the foundation of my online presence.
